It started with a silent auction in 2020, a pandemic and a trip to Italy four years later.

Chris and Steve are the other half of Mya and Heidi, respectively. The ladies are besties for years and the gents found themselves connected not just by their lovely partners, but also by the same musical upbringings in guitar and vocals. In this budding bromance they and the ladies wound up in a villa (yes a villa) on an olive orchard in central Italy. With a guitar borrowed from the landlords, they played and sang every day. Both guys played in local rock cover bands but this acoustic duo thing was sounding good and, unknown to them both, was about to come to life.

There, on the patio in the orchard, Chris pitched an idea: Playing in full rock bands is great but its a lot of gear and a lot of people. Wouldn’t it be cool to also play in a duo or trio in little pubs and coffee houses? Steve was onboard in an instant and, back home with a little practice, they played an open mic in Folsom, Ca. It was cool and different and the beginning of something new.

Weeks went by and Chris got a call. A small pool party needed a backyard band. A perfectly sized gig – Just what they wanted but they decided to add a little something extra.

For the previous couple of years (and still) Steve and Zane played together in Unlicensed Therapy with Zane as lead guitar. Although he shreds the six string he also happens to be a killer bass player. Chris and Steve reached out to Zane to make a trio and magic happened. The partygoers loved the Trio, the Trio loved the party and the ball was officially rolling…and Rocking.
